I believe the tpl (taskfactory.startnew) works similar to threadpool.queueuserworkitem. However, using tpl alone does not by some magic process parallelize your workload to maximize performance You will have to split your work into smaller tasks and creating more tasks than the thread pool can handle will. To have templating in values.yaml , these are the available options
